Larnaca Area's
The Hala Sultan Tekke - Located on the banks of the Salt Lake 5 km west of Larnaca.
Tekke is the tomb of Umm Haram who is said to be the foster mother of Mohammed. According to Moslem tradition Umm Haram died on this spot in 647 A.D. while accompanying the Arab invaders. It is considered to the third holiest place in the Moslem world after Mecca and Medina.
The Angeloktisti Church - Located in Kiti, to the west of Larnaca town.
This is the famous church of Panagia Angeloktisti ("build by Angels"). This 11th century building replaced an earlier one, and the chapel at the entrance is of the 14th century. The early Byzantine mosaics found surrounding the church are considered to be the finest on the island and is certainly worth visiting.
The old chapel of prophet Elias - Located on the top of the highest hill of Oroklini village
Visitors may have a breathtaking view of the entire Larnaca town, Oroklini village and the Larnaca Bay.
Stavrovouni Monastery - 9km off the Nicosia-Limassol road. 40km from Larnaca
The monastery was founded by Helena, mother of Emperor Constantine and the finder of the cross of Jesus. Only men are allowed to visit this monastery and can stay also overnight.
Chirokoitia - Nicosia-Limassol Rd.
The site dates back to 7000 B.C. and is the oldest site that one may visit in Cyprus.
The Venetian Castle of Pyla
Located in the center of the village next to the old church of Archangel Michael. Pyla is the only mixed village in Cyprus, where Greek and Turkish Cypriots have lived peacefully together for many years.
Lefkara Village - 8km from Skarinou, off the Nicosia-Limassol
A picturesque village, renowned worldwide for its lace and embroideries. 
Tower of Regena - 17km west of Larnaca
The Tower is the Venetian observation castle. It was used by the Venetians and Cypriots for observing the coasts and informing the people of the approaching of pirates and other invaders.
